It’s no surprise the allure of Southern California drew a young Walt Disney. For decades, the region has been a beacon for dreamers from around the globe. While Los Angeles recently endured heartbreaking devastation caused by wildfires, we’re grateful to all who protected Los Angeles County and kept the area impacted at less than 2%. 

Here in Anaheim, about 50 miles from the Palisades Fire, we remain untouched by the wildfires and steadfast in our commitment to help our neighboring communities rebuild.

 

It's a Great Time to Visit Anaheim

Anaheim and surrounding Orange County remain unaffected by the Los Angeles wildfires. With blue skies and plenty of pixie dust, the city of Anaheim and the Disneyland® Resort area are welcoming guests for a celebration 70 years in the making.

Beginning May 16, 2025, the Disneyland® Resort kicks off its 70th anniversary celebration! The theme is “Celebrate Happy,” which takes on added meaning as we reflect on the challenges endured by fire victims.  We’ll always opt to find the joy, the magic, and the happy.

“Celebrate Happy” at the Disneyland® Resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration

What makes you happy? Here are a few things that make us happy about the upcoming 70th anniversary celebration of the Disneyland® Resort: an enchanting line-up of new limited-time entertainment, new outfits for Mickey and Minnie, and the return of beloved favorites!

The theme is inspired by Walt Disney’s opening day message, “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome!”

February at Knott's Berry Farm brings the amazing Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration! From February 8 to March 9, 2025, the park celebrates the famous comic strip gang, offering up family-friendly fun for everyone.

Food lovers can enjoy a menu packed with PEANUTS-inspired treats. Shows like “It's Your Life, Charlie Brown” and “Snoopy's Legendary Rooftop Concert,” promise big laughs.
