    The Partnership Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships as well as partner engagement and retention. 

    This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract and recruit tourism related businesses and organizations to collaborate with Visit Anaheim in promoting the destination. 

    The Partnership Sales Manager understands strategic needs of potential businesses and current partners and will help advance and grow initiatives that align with and enhance Anaheim’s competitive position, through strategic partnership sales and sponsorships. Also, it will manage and meet budget goals on all programs as outlined annually.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities


    Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

    Essential Functions:

    1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to generate revenue through partnerships, sponsorship and collaborations with industry related businesses and other stakeholders.
    2. Identify and prospect potential new business to grow partnership sales, premium web-listings, and new initiatives such as business intelligence packages, email marketing, and other programs.
    3. Responsible for understanding the strategic needs of new potential partners to offer strategic business solutions and to develop and execute sponsorship program opportunities at a variety of levels for Visit Anaheim events, other programs, and industry events.
    4. Build and maintain strong relations with existing partners and sponsors, ensuring high level of satisfaction and engagement.
    5. Create customized partnership proposals and packages tailored to specific needs and objectives of potential partners, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of collaborating with Visit Anaheim.
    6. Collaborate cross-departments with marketing, communications, events, and tourism development to leverage partnership opportunities and integrate partner initiatives.
    7. Track and report on partnership sales performance, including revenue targets, conversion rates, progress to goal.
    8. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and best practices in partnership sales and destination marketing. Continuously seek new ideas and innovative approaches to enhance Visit Anaheim’s value proposition and competitive advantage.
    9. Represent Visit Anaheim at industry events, conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote partnership, build brand awareness and foster relationships within the community.
    10. Uphold Visit Anaheim’s mission, values and brand standards in all partnership interactions and communications.
    11. Maintain current partner accounts-renewal, premium web-listings, and new initiatives with current partners.
    12. Liaison between partnership and other key depts. (BI, Marketing, Communications)  to get all integration and statistical data supported into CRM system.
    13. Maintain traces and account information in CRM.
    14. Identify resources, collateral, and information to support the sales efforts.
    15. Develop monthly reports of prospected businesses outreach and progress.
    16. Visit Anaheim website- solicit support from key industries, engage and create opportunities to enrich this resource.
    17. Meet or exceed partnership sales team goals annually.
    18. Management of assigned budgets and submission of expense reports accurately and timely. 

    19. Miscellaneous projects-as assigned.

    Specifications


    1. Education
      Required: Associate college degree or related job experiences.
      Preferred: 4-year college degree.

      Required:  Minimum of 6 years experience in hospitatlity industry sales.
      Preferred:  7+ years of experience in hospitality industry sales- with job related experiences.
    3. Abilities
      Required:

    The goal of this position is to increase Visit Anaheim’s market share of domestic and international leisure travel working in a strong team environment and driving tourism initiatives, developing partnerships, and implementing strategies to target key feeder markets. 

    The responsibilities of this job include planning and implementing innovative consumer initiatives and trade efforts and positioning Anaheim and Garden Grove hotels as the base of stay to maximize the use of partner lodging facilities, attractions, transportation companies, shopping, dining, cultural and sport venues.

    The Manager, Tourism Development reports to the Vice President, Tourism & Partnership.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities


    Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

    Essential Functions:

    1. Drive overnight stays and extend length of stay in Anaheim and Orange County by developing consumer and travel trade programs to grow awareness and increase demand from strategic domestic accounts and key international markets  
    2. Position the destination as the ideal Southern California base of stay by highlighting the key attributes of the destination in the consumer and trade markets.  
    3. Initiate co-op sales and marketing opportunities with key airline and trade partners to launch consumer promotions, generate demand to area hotels, and traffic to our online resources.
    4. Develop co-op campaigns and opportunities with key domestic and or international partners for in-market activations integrating TID hotels to generate demand and help during off-season.
    5. Develop a plan to educate, engage and incentivize Travel Trade Professionals in all key markets by promoting the Online Training Program, webinars, content and destination assets.
    6. Develop a comprehensive program to target the Receptive Tour Operators with hotel participation, content ideas, destination assets, and the direct participation in RTO events.
    7. Prospect, pitch and develop destination promotions to secure business opportunities that benefit the destination in off-season in collaboration with traditional and non-traditional partners.
    8. Focus on the domestic and current international markets by creating and executing innovative, cost effective sales efforts, programs, and events to strengthen brand awareness and presence to help partners reach their goals by becoming an extension of their sales team.  
    9. Leverage existing assets and alliances to expand and develop educational resources and online tools to increase booking conversions and deliver the destination message to a broader audience.  
    10. Identify new tools by collaborating with the Marketing and Communications teams to design and produce customized collateral materials, online resources, web content, etc.
    11. Define strategic itineraries for educational (FAM) tours to provide firsthand destination experiences for domestic and international tier-one clients.
    12. Work with Communications staff in key initiatives throughout the year.
    13. Provide periodic destination updates to tier-one clients and keep them updated about new developments and resources.
    14. Attend conferences, product launches, and partner events as needed.
    15. Prospect, identify and provide leads and referrals to partners.
    16. Experience with developing and maintain budgets for market specific programs including but not limited to sales missions, fam tours, and special projects. 
    17. Complete and submit expense reports, metrics, trip reports, and other administrative duties as needed.
    18. Support other members of the Tourism Development Team with special projects.
    19. Experience in delivering public presentations on the visitor industry in Anaheim and Orange County to travel professionals, partners, community groups, schools and colleges.
    20. Perform all other duties as assigned.

    The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Director of Finance & Accounting and Accounts Payable/Payroll Manager by managing financial data, ensuring compliance to internal policies and GAAP through daily financial entries and reconciliations.  This position performs accounting tasks such as auditing internal controls, general ledger entries, manages expense report review and processing, assists accounts payable, accounts receivable, and backup for payroll processing. 


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities


    Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

    Essential Functions:

    1. Assists in preparing and reconciling company’s financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements.
    2. Conduct regular audits of internal and external systems to ensure systems are working properly.
    3. Manage expense report flow and performs internal audit of expense reports.
    4. Understands system to account for financial transactions and assists in managing the chart of accounts.
    5. Understands all activities related to accounts payable including vendor setup and classifications, invoice coding and support, and processing payments in compliance with company policies.
    6. Understands all activities related to accounts receivable including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
    7. Supports month-end and year-end closing processes.
    8. Supports annual external audits, 1099, and tax preparations.
    9. Understands and adheres to confidentiality requirements.
    10. Backup for payroll processing.
    11. Understands fund accounting principles.
    12. Will assist in managing multiple entities including 501c3, 501c6 and LLC.
    13. Maintains historical records both digitally and hard copy filing per record retention policies.
