Revitalization project to launch this summer, adding modern touches throughout the ultimate outlet shopping destination

ORANGE, Calif. – Simon®, a real estate investment trust engaged in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, today announced a revitalization of The Outlets at Orange, Orange County’s premier, open-air outlet shopping destination. Work is scheduled to begin this fall, with the majority of the project expected to be completed by late 2027. The center will remain open throughout the enhancements.

The multi-million-dollar project will bring a fresh, modern look to The Outlets at Orange with upgraded flooring, new seating areas, enhanced landscaping, refreshed signage, added shade structures and updated lighting throughout the center. Guests will also enjoy newly designed common areas, enhanced entrances, a fully repainted exterior and a new green space, creating a brighter, more comfortable and inviting environment for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Headlining the center’s new offerings will be Coach, featuring a Coach Coffee Shop with a patio, as well as Michael Kors—two marquee additions that further elevate the outlet shopping experience at The Outlets at Orange. The remodel also continues the momentum from recent openings in the former Skatepark space, including Barnes & Noble, Vans and Skechers.

“We’re thrilled to introduce a fresh, elevated new look at The Outlets at Orange that reflects the energy of our center and the Orange County community we serve,” said Kristin Elfring, General Manager at The Outlets at Orange. “These upgrades will create a brighter, more welcoming environment for our guests while enhancing the experience for our retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues. We can’t wait for shoppers to see and enjoy this exciting next chapter.”

The Outlets at Orange features more than 120 outlet stores and offers fun and entertainment for the entire family with over 25 restaurants & cafes, plus a Lucky Strike, Dave & Buster's and AMC 30 movie theatre with IMAX.
