Hilton Anaheim Commemorates 40 Years with Throwback Menu, 80s-Themed Celebration, and 40% Off Stays
ANAHEIM, Calif. – (May 28, 2024) – Hilton Anaheim, Orange County’s largest hotel property and located just steps away from the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland® Resort, is commemorating its 40th Anniversary with celebrations throughout the summer. To kick off the throwback festivities, Hilton Anaheim will be hosting an 80s-themed anniversary party, launching a specialty menu at MIX Restaurant and Lounge with iconic 80’s dishes and cocktails, and offering guests 40% OFF hotel stays!
Celebrate like it’s 1984
On Thursday, June 6th from 5pm to 7pm, the hotel invites partygoers to flashback to 1984 when Hilton Anaheim first opened to join in the celebration of the hotel’s 40th Anniversary party. Guests are also encouraged to war their best 80s attire! Held at Hilton Anaheim’s MIX Restaurant, the party will include complimentary passed bites from the new, special anniversary menu, inspired by dishes popular in the decade, specialty cocktails at a cash bar, and entertainment featuring music from the times. Conceptualized by Executive Chef Juan Lopez and his culinary team, the menu, which will be available at MIX Restaurant and Lounge through the summer, will include small bites of potato skins, meatball sliders and shrimp cocktails, along with the WooWoo and Whiskey Business cocktail.

Four Decades of Hospitality
Originally named ‘The Anaheim Hilton and Towers’, the hotel opened in time for the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984. Only 50 feet away from the Anaheim Convention Center, Hilton Anaheim was built as a convention hotel that housed 1,600 deluxe guest rooms and over 100,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet space. An exclusive experience, the “Towers” were originally designed to create an extra dimension of exceptional service. They included 140 guest rooms on the top floor of the hotel and were marketed as “a hotel within a hotel.” Towers guests were provided with private registration, concierge services, continental breakfast, a private bar and lounge, and more.
