Allie Lutz of Buying Beverly Hillshas listed her most exclusive property yet: a built-by-hand beachfront home made entirely of LEGO® bricks at LEGOLAND® California Resort. Nestled within Coronado in MINILAND San Diego, this LEGO house was built from more than 50,000 LEGO bricks and took a team of Master Model Builders 380 hours to complete. For the first time ever, one lucky family now has the opportunity to “live” in this captivating LEGO world – as Minilanders!
What are Minilanders? Minilanders are the residents of MINILAND U.S.A. – the heart of LEGOLAND California Resort built in 1:20 scale. Standing a whopping four inches tall, this LEGO population welcomes the future residents of this newly built house with open bricks. As of today, you and up to 10 members of your family (including your furry family members!) can bid on the opportunity to “live” in the LEGO house by bidding in a public auction. The top bidder will have Minilanders designed and built in their LEGO likeness and will be ready to “move in” before Labor Day to enjoy those summer views. All auction proceeds benefit Merlin’s Magic Wand Foundation, a non-profit organization that partners with Merlin Entertainments to deliver magical experiences to children who need them most. Lutz, a luxury real estate agent based in California, consulted with Master Model Builders at LEGOLAND California to create a craftsman-style beach home to which any family would want to own.
