April 12, 2024 – Anaheim, CA – For the third year, the historic Anaheim Packing District will host “Sun Salutations & Sounds. This year, guests can look forward to a more filling community connection as the experience will conclude with a Pranayama Picnic. The grassy green at Farmers Park will be transformed into an outdoor yoga Shala on Saturday, April 27, from 10am until 12:30pm. "It is in the collective energy of a yoga community that we find solace, encouragement, and the power to uplift one another. Yoga connects people by transcending boundaries, fostering empathy, and creating a space for authentic connections to flourish.," says Kumi Yogini, the event’s yoga instructor and Founder of Veda Yoga.
The yoga vinyasa session will begin at 10:30am, led by Kumi Yogini, accompanied by the healing beats of DJ Crisanto and a transcendental sound bath from Kasie Swisher. Yogis will celebrate the end of their serene session with a community picnic featuring handcrafted sandwiches from The Iron Press.
