Enhancing Anaheim’s highest rooftop restaurant for travelers, locals, events and groups

Top of the V, the rooftop bar and restaurant atop The Viv Hotel, Anaheim, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, will temporarily close in January 2026 for a strategic interior design refresh, brand evolution and culinary transformation into an elevated Spanish-inspired steakhouse. Targeting a reopening timeframe of early February, this redevelopment is designed to enrich the local hospitality scene, broaden appeal for leisure and business guests, and position the venue as a premier destination for local dining, group buyouts, meetings and social events.

Located in the heart of Anaheim’s resort corridor and within 1.5 miles from both the Disneyland® Resort and Anaheim Convention Center, Top of the V has become known for its skyline views and vibrant atmosphere. The redesign aims to build on that identity while creating a dynamic dining experience centered on Spanish flavors, premium steakhouse offerings and chef-driven creativity.

Highlights of the transformation include:

  • Interior and brand update: A refined design concept with new color palette, elevated finishes, new furniture and accents reflecting a warm, vibrant and welcoming environment.

  • Spanish-inspired steakhouse menu: A bold new culinary vision that highlights premium cuts, paellas, shareable plates and inventive cocktails rooted in Spanish traditions.

  • Interactive moments: Tableside service, elevated presentational dining, and fireworks views on select evenings to make for unique and memorable experiences.

  • Group and event focus: Enhanced capabilities to host group buyouts, corporate meetings, social events and business gatherings, especially those linked with Anaheim’s robust meetings and conventions market.

Top of the V will roll out a phased unveiling of the new interior and menu plus reopening programming and media previews. Renderings and additional details will be available to the media ahead of the reopening. Journalists, local partners and influencers will be invited to exclusive tastings ahead of the official launch.
