ANAHEIM, CALIF. (February 15, 2018) – USA Badminton unveiled a new logo headquarters in Anaheim, California. Working with Manna Creations over the course of six months, the new design infuses the historic look of USAB, along with a contemporary feel that shows the upcoming progress and success of the organization.

“We wanted the logo to be analogous to the Olympic Movement, but also to create a new look that could energize the badminton community,” said USAB CEO Jeff Dyrek.

The new logo includes a shuttle of red, white and blue, representing the stars and stripes of the United States flag. The five feathers in the shuttle illustrate the five disciplines of badminton. The lines bordering the text represent the net, with the shuttle going over it.

The unveiling of a new logo is the latest in a series of moves made by USAB in the last year to develop a new era for USAB and bring it to the forefront of the American sports world.

“USA Badminton is building a new brand with new programs coming in 2018,” said Dyrek.

New or upcoming programs include Collegiate Badminton Leagues, adult recreational leagues, as well as the addition of a new National Team Coach.

“We will look to expand on the new programs and continue to listen to our members to grow and improve where we can,” add Dyrek.

The new logo will be implemented immediately and will have different iterations that can be used by sanctioned tournaments, clubs, coaches and more.
