Oklin to Assume Position in Sept.

Anaheim, CA (Aug. 19, 2024) – Visit Anaheim, the official sales and marketing organization for Anaheim, announced today that Scott Oklin has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective Sept. 16, 2024. Oklin, a sales and marketing leader in the sports, entertainment, and hospitality space, previously served as Head of Sales at Travelzoo.

Leading Travelzoo’s business development efforts for nearly a decade, Oklin was integral in establishing partnerships with some of the most well-known destinations and travel brands in the industry. His team created compelling marketing campaigns that drove visitation by leveraging Travelzoo’s global audience of travel enthusiasts. They focused on storytelling and providing 360-degree custom content solutions to engage and inspire travelers.

Prior to Travelzoo, Oklin held significant roles with Goldstar, a live entertainment ticketing platform, and the Washington Commanders, where he specialized in sponsorship activation. These positions have equipped him with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the travel and entertainment sectors.
