Inaugural Anaheim Innovation Roundtable Convenes Industry Experts to Explore How Anaheim can Capitalize on Unprecedented Investment, New Infrastructure, and Global Momentum

Anaheim, CA (November 3, 2026) – Visit Anaheim will bring together 20 meeting professionals and industry leaders from across the country for the inaugural Anaheim Innovation Roundtable (AIR), Nov. 10–12, tapping cross-industry expertise to help chart Anaheim’s next chapter as unprecedented investment, new infrastructure and major global events propel the destination forward.
Collectively, the inaugural group represents some of the meetings industry’s most influential organizations and decision-makers, responsible for high-value events that drive significant attendance, room nights and economic impact in destinations across the country. These industry leaders will bring decades of expertise across association, corporate, trade show and large-scale event strategy, offering Visit Anaheim a powerful cross-section of perspectives as the destination looks to maximize the opportunities ahead.
“The future of meetings isn’t something destinations can shape in isolation,” said Mike Waterman, President & CEO, Visit Anaheim. “AIR brings diverse industry leaders to the table to challenge our thinking, share fresh perspectives and help shape what comes next for Anaheim.”
Designed as a collaborative working session rather than a traditional advisory board, AIR brings diverse industry perspectives together over three days of discussion and firsthand destination experiences. Their insights will help Visit Anaheim better understand what planners need next, identify new opportunities and capitalize on the infrastructure and investment shaping Anaheim’s next chapter.
The initiative comes as Anaheim enters a significant period of transformation, with new development and investment continuing to reshape the destination while major global events bring increased attention to Southern California.
“Anaheim is entering an unprecedented period of growth and transformation, and we want our industry partners to be part of that journey,” said Ronnie Collins, Chief Sales Officer, Visit Anaheim. “AIR gives us an opportunity to tap into their collective expertise, uncover new opportunities and ensure we’re making the most of the momentum ahead.”
For Visit Anaheim, AIR represents an opportunity not simply to respond to where the meetings industry is today, but to create an ongoing dialogue with the people determining where it goes next.
