In the pursuit of sustainability and wildfire prevention, east Anaheim enlists the help of a dedicated team: a herd of goats. These eco-friendly grazers are not only clearing brush from our hillsides but also embodying the spirit of sustainable land management. By harnessing their natural instinct to munch on dry vegetation, the city is reducing the risk of wildfires while minimizing our reliance on harmful chemicals and machinery. It's a win-win situation, our city stays safe from fires while our goat friends enjoy a tasty snack! As these goats roam the hillsides, they not only prevent wildfires but also contribute to the restoration of natural habitats, promoting biodiversity in our community. With their gentle presence, they remind us of the importance of living in harmony with nature, fostering a sustainable future for generations to come.
