Anaheim Concerts in the Park
Anaheim’s free Concerts in the Park series is back for another summer of live music, kicking off summer 2026 with three Thursday evening shows in June!
- June 11 at Modjeska Park
- June 18 at Ponderosa Park
- June 25 at Pioneer Park
All concerts will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or folding chair, show up a little early, and settle in for an easy summer evening outdoors. You can pack your own snacks or grab something from the food trucks and vendors on-site!
Check out the full schedule here! (Note: The performance lineup is still pending at the time of writing, but expect everything from rock, blues, jazz, and R&B bands.)
Anaheim Summer Nights Under the Stars Series

June also kicks off another longtime Anaheim summer favorite: Pearson Park Amphitheatre’s Summer Nights Under the Stars series. Concerts are completely free to attend (and for all ages) and take place every Friday and Saturday, rain or shine, from June 12 through August 22.
Although shows are free to attend, it’s still a good idea to RSVP in advance, since spots tend to fill up quickly!
Food Festivals in Anaheim and OC

Taste of Japan | (June 19 - 21)
Taste of Japan is back in Anaheim! Held at the iconic Anaheim GardenWalk, visitors can delight in all things Japan during this festival. Enjoy authentic Japanese foods from more than 50 of the best Japanese vendors in Southern California. Learn more about Japanese pop culture including Anime and cosplay, and participate in fun activities for the whole family. There will be live entertainment on the main stage throughout the day, such as Japanese drummers and martial artists.
Tustin Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off (June 7 | Tustin)
This June, Old Town Tustin hosts its 42nd annual street fair and chili cook-off, a one-day event built around chili booths, craft beer, live music, community vendors, and a kids’ zone. It has the feel of a classic summer street fair, just with a lot more chili involved. Plus, who doesn’t want to sample a bunch of different chilis and vote for the top prize?
Summerfest in Fountain Valley (June 18–21 | Fountain Valley)
Mid-month, Fountain Valley Summerfest brings together carnival rides, food, beer, vendors, and live entertainment at the Recreation Center and Sports Park. If what you want is a big community festival with enough going on to keep a group busy for a few hours, this is one of the easier June options nearby. Plus, admission is completely free, and the event is built around family-friendly vibes.
Celebrate Father’s Day
This year, Father’s Day falls on June 21, and Anaheim gives you plenty of unique ways to make a day of it and celebrate the dad in your life!

Catch an Angels Game
For an early Father’s Day celebration, the Angels host the Tampa Bay Rays from June 12–14. Or, for some post–Father’s Day fun, catch them taking on the Baltimore Orioles from June 22–24. If your dad likes a stadium atmosphere and ballpark food (think: nachos and hot dogs), you can’t go wrong with a day at Angel Stadium.
Plan a Father’s Day Brewery Crawl

If Dad enjoys spending the afternoon with a pint, Anaheim’s brewery scene gives you plenty to work with. Some great options include:
- Bottle Logic
- Brewery X
- Karl Strauss
- Golden Road
- Unsung
- Monkish Beer Garden
- Villains
- Noble Ale Works
- Brewheim
Learn more about local brewery experiences and find the perfect IPA, lager, or stout for the man in your life! After all, the craft beer scene is easily one of the most fun things to do in Anaheim.

Catch a Concerts or an Art Festival

MANÁ: Live at Honda Center (June 5–6)
One of the biggest Anaheim attractions this month is MANÁ’s: Vivir Sin Aire Tour at Honda Center on June 5 and 6. For fans of Spanish-language rock, this is a major stop. MANÁ remains one of the most decorated and influential Latin bands of the last several decades, so catching them in Anaheim is a pretty good excuse to build a full night around dinner and a show!
Laguna Art-A-Fair Opens for the Season (June 26 | Laguna Beach)
Starting June 26, Laguna Art-A-Fair opens for its summer season, bringing together a large mix of artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and other mediums. Alongside the art itself, the festival also includes hands-on workshops, weekend live entertainment, food vendors, and a full bar.
Spend the Day Outdoors: Anaheim Sightseeing

Anaheim also works well for a more outdoorsy Father’s Day. Keep it simple with a picnic or short walk at Oak Canyon Nature Center, or turn it into more of an outing with a fishing excursion or harbor cruise in Dana Point or Newport Beach, coastal hiking in Laguna Beach, or a beach day built around surfing and swimming in Huntington Beach.
