Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure® Park (January 23 – February 22, 2026)

Disney California Adventure® Park welcomes the Year of the Horse with a Lunar New Year celebration. Highlights include Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, themed performances, and photo opportunities with your favorite Disney characters dressed in holiday attire! Monster Jam Championship Series at Angel Stadium (January 17–18)

Monster Jam’s biggest tournament of the year roars into Angel Stadium mid-January! The Stadium Championship Series features the top monster truck drivers competing in racing, freestyle, and skills challenges across two action-packed days. Fans can also take part in pit parties, interactive experiences, and VIP options that bring them up close to the trucks and drivers. 

The NAMM Show Takes Over Anaheim (January 20–24)

One of the largest music industry events in the world, The NAMM Show, returns to Anaheim this January. The five-day gathering brings together musicians, sound engineers, tech innovators, and brands from across the globe to showcase the latest in instruments, audio gear, and live event technology. While much of the show is geared toward industry professionals, its presence fills the Anaheim Resort area with pop-up performances, product launches, and late-night jam sessions that spill well beyond the Anaheim Convention Center.

Catch an Anaheim Ducks Game

January is a busy month at Honda Center, with several Anaheim Ducks home games on the schedule. The highlight comes on January 17 with the Freeway Series matchup against crosstown rivals, the Los Angeles Kings. Other notable home games include matchups against the Minnesota Wild on January 3, the Dallas Stars on January 13, and the New York Rangers on January 19. With the Ducks currently fighting for the top spot in their division, every game carries weight!

Shop Small Soirée (Last Sunday of the Month)

Discover something special on January 25 at the Shop Small Soirée in Downtown Anaheim! From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along the Center Street Promenade, this vibrant event brings together a curated lineup of local makers, boutique vendors, delicious eats, live music, and family-friendly fun.   • Duran Duran (January 8) — The legendary 1980s band from England takes over the Honda Center, bringing decades of synth-pop classics and arena-ready energy to Anaheim.
  • George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic (January 16) — These psychedelic funk pioneers hit the stage at House of Blues Anaheim for a night of grooving and dancing.
  • Billy F. Gibbons (January 25) — Led by ZZ Top’s beloved frontman, his blues-rock project “The BFG Band” takes the stage at The Grove of Anaheim with high energy rock and roll.
  • Black Flag (January 30) — The pioneering punk band from SoCal reunites with its founding member Greg Ginn (and a new lineup of young talent) to play their most fast-paced hits at The Observatory in Santa Ana

SnowFest Brings Winter Fun to Lake Forest (January 10)

SnowFest offers guests a one-day, winter-themed celebration without leaving sunny Orange County. Held at Pittsford Park, the event is set to feature real snow, sledding down Mount Pittsford, tons of games, and family-friendly activities. The day is divided into timed sessions, and wristbands are required, so get your tickets early! It’s a popular event that tends to sell out quickly.

Taste of San Juan Celebrates Local Flavor (January 29)

Taste of San Juan is an evening dedicated to the city’s award-winning food scene. Local restaurants gather under one roof to serve small bites alongside live music in a relaxed, social setting.
