JW Marriott Anaheim Resort Celebrates Women's Month by Highlighting Women in Leadership 
 

Anaheim, CA (March 10, 2023) – The JW Marriott Anaheim Resort, is proud to celebrate the women who play a pivotal role in the resort’s success. This new AAA Four-Diamond Luxury hotel is situated just a short 8-10 minute stroll away from both Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. The resort's exceptional blend of hospitable warmth and meticulous attention to detail has elevated it to a level of refined sophistication and elegance, which is a testament to the leadership of the talented and experienced women who hold leadership positions. 

Leading the group is Rhanda Richardson, General Manager who joined the JW Marriott Anaheim team in 2022. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rhanda's background is an exceptional blend of sales, marketing, and operational expertise. Her leadership experience spans prominent hotels such as the Irvine Marriott, Orange County Booking Center, Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa, and Anaheim Marriott Hotel, as well as the General Manager position at the San Diego Mission Valley, Costa Mesa Marriott, Newport Beach Marriott Bayview and most recently Torrance Marriott. Maribel Denner is an experienced hospitality professional who leads the hotel's sales efforts and marketing strategy. With over 35 years of hospitality industry experience, Maribel brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and charisma to the role. She implements sales and marketing strategies to drive topline revenue, elevates luxury accommodations, and incorporate core company initiatives. Maribel states, “my love for the hospitality industry stems from growing up in a culture where being hospitable was a key factor for fostering strong personal and professional relationships.” Learn more about Maribel here.  

Cindy Han-Reta, the Director of Event Management, oversees event management, event operations teams, event technology, as well as collaborations with food and beverage outlets. With over 16+ years of industry experience and knowledge, Cindy has worked in prominent Marriott hotels across Los Angeles and Orange County as Director of Event Management and Director of Food & Beverage. Her passion for executing memorable events and F&B offerings is key in driving superior customer experience. Cindy states, “I am excited to make connections, rekindle old ones, as well as grow and mentor the next generation of Marriott leaders at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort”. The JW Marriott Anaheim Resort’s newest Director of Room Operation Nikki Mitchell, boasts nearly 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a proven track record of success in various leadership roles. Her career began as a Rooms Intern at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, where she worked her way up through the ranks and eventually became a Front Office. Most recently, Nikki served as the Director of Room Operations at Marriott Irvine Spectrum, where she gained invaluable experience that she brings with her to the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort. Last but not least, Rita Joshi, the Director of Finance at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort, has had an exceptional career journey with Marriott that started in 1994 as a room service operator at Rancho Las Palmas Marriott. She worked her way up to become the Sr. Assistant Director of Finance at the Desert Springs Marriott Resort after joining the Fremont Marriott team as an Assistant Controller in 2000. Rita has also held roles with the Anaheim team and was previously the Director of Finance at Renaissance Long Beach. Her extensive experience and relentless drive have now led her to the esteemed position of Director of Finance at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort. Learn more about Rita here
