USA Racquetball Partners with Sports Anaheim to Host the 2020 National Junior Olympic Championship
PORTLAND, OR. (June 24, 2019) ― In a unanimous decision by the National Events Committee, USA Racquetball has selected the City of Fullerton to host the 2020 National Junior Olympic Championship at the Meridian Sports Club, June 24-28, 2020. With 14 courts, the Meridian Sports Club is one of the premier racquetball facilities in Southern California.
Fullerton's historic Downtown District hosts numerous restaurants and clubs ranging from fast-food favorites to five-star gourmet establishments. The Downtown, which has won several awards, also hosts a variety of unique stores, such as gift and antique shops, clothing stores and more.
Sports Anaheim has hosted a plethora of national and international sporting events in recent years, including the 2019 USA Weightlifting National Youth Championships, the 2019 USA Judo Junior Olympics and the 2017 USA Weightlifting World Championships. The City of Anaheim is located in close proximity to John Wayne Airport in neighboring Santa Ana, California, and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
