Bookings Generate Nearly $1.74 Billion in Economic Impact for Anaheim and Garden Grove


Anaheim, CA (January 13, 2026)Visit Anaheim, the official destination marketing organization for Anaheim and Garden Grove, announced that it has secured 142 conventions, meetings, and events for 2026, reinforcing the destination’s continued momentum as a premier hub for meetings and conventions on the West Coast.

The 2026 bookings include 76 meetings and 66 conventions, which are projected to generate $1.74 billion in total economic impact for the region. These events are expected to produce nearly 600,000 hotel room nights, delivering meaningful benefits to local hotels, restaurants, attractions, and tourism-related businesses throughout Anaheim and Garden Grove.

A key driver of the 2026 convention calendar includes several milestone and legacy events returning to or celebrating major anniversaries in Anaheim, reinforcing the destination’s long-standing appeal to global organizations. Highlights include NAMM’s 50th anniversary in Anaheim, Natural Products Expo West’s 45th anniversary, and the highly anticipated return of BlizzCon, underscoring Anaheim’s ability to host large-scale, culturally influential events year after year.

In addition to visitor spending, the 2026 bookings are projected to generate $22.1 million in Tourism Occupancy Tax (TOT) revenue, providing critical funding to support city services and community priorities.
