The Angels kick off their 64th season on Thursday, March 28, facing the Orioles in Baltimore, marking their second season opener against them since 1961. After a six-game road stretch against the Orioles and Marlins, they return to Angel Stadium on April 5 to host the Red Sox. Their 2024 schedule comprises 13 home stands and 13 road trips.

During the off-season, the Angels hired Ron Washington as their new manager who brings decades of coaching experience and his vibrant personality back as a manager. Previously, he spent eight seasons with the Rangers where he guided them to consecutive World Series appearances in 2010 and 2011. Then after 10 years of third-base coaching in Oakland and Atlanta, he is returns to managing. His commitment to teaching the game remains unwavering, ensuring that his impact on players continues unabated.

Anchoring the Angels roster are key players such as 11-time MLB All-Star, three-time American League Most Valuable Player and nine-time Slugger Award winner, Mike Trout. Trout has been one of the best players in baseball for nearly a decade and his leadership will be crucial for the Angels' success this season. The Halos will square off with all 29 Major League Clubs, including four against the Dodgers. During the Freeway Series action, the Angels will visit the Dodgers for a pair of games on June 21-22 and host their cross-town rivals at Angel Stadium for two games on September 3-4.
The Angels will face stiff competition in the American League West division. The 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers, Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners are all talented teams with playoff aspirations of their own.
