Every spring, the Disneyland® Resort hosts its seasonal Eggstravaganza scavenger hunt throughout the Downtown Disney® District. Guests search for oversized Disney character eggs hidden in storefront displays and tucked into corners across the promenade. To participate, visitors should purchase a map and stickers at select merchandise locations, after which you can cash these in for limited edition prizes! 

 

Downtown Anaheim Easter Festival Celebration

Eggstravaganza at the Anaheim Farmers Market (Anaheim) 

Date: April 2, 2026 

Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Location: Center Street Promenade, Downtown Anaheim 

Every year, Downtown Anaheim’s weekly farmers market transforms into a spring celebration with themed activities, seasonal decorations, and family-friendly programming. Visitors can browse local produce and artisan vendors while kids take part in Easter-themed crafts and meet the Easter Bunny himself along the Center Street Promenade!

Anaheim Hills Rotary Club Easter Festival (Anaheim) 

Date: Sunday, March 29, 2026 

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 

Location: Ronald Reagan Park 

The Anaheim Hills Rotary Club hosts its annual Easter celebration at Ronald Reagan Park. Families can meet the Easter Bunny and take photos, participate in games and crafts, and browse the event’s silent auction. Plus, enjoy Easter eggs galore!  

 

Irvine Park Railroad Easter Eggstravaganza (Orange)

Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch in Irvine Regional Park

Date: March 7 – April 4, 2026 

Time: Weekdays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. | Weekends 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Location: Irvine Regional Park 

This long-running spring event just south of Anaheim transforms Irvine Regional Park into a seasonal playground. Children can participate in scheduled Easter egg hunts, meet the Easter Bunny for photos, ride the park’s historic train, and try activities like hayrides, carnival games, and cookie decorating. Entry is free, though individual activities require tickets. Also, egg hunts operate on timed wristbands (and often fill quickly), so arriving early is definitely recommended! 

 

Aliso Viejo Community Spring Celebration (Aliso Viejo) 

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026 

Time: 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 

Location: Grand Park 

Aliso Viejo’s annual spring gathering includes egg hunts, craft stations, live music, food vendors, and visits with Peter Rabbit. Face painting and family activities take place throughout the morning. Please note that egg hunt sessions require signing up before the event, so register here and secure your spot. 

 

Bunny Bonanza (Laguna Niguel) 

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026 

Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Location: Crown Valley Park 

Laguna Niguel’s Bunny Bonanza focuses on interactive activities rather than egg hunts, so there is no need to bring a basket to this party! Families can enjoy craft stations, games, musicians and entertainers, a “Touch-A-Truck” competition, and photo opportunities with the Spring Bunny! 

 

Mayor’s Egg Race (Newport Beach) 

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026 

Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Location: The Lawn at Newport Beach Civic Center  

Newport Beach takes a different approach to Easter festivities with its annual Mayor’s Egg Race. Participants of all ages compete in egg races across the Civic Center lawn, alongside inflatable attractions, train rides, sweet treats, and other fun surprises. 

 

Eggstravaganza at Heritage Museum of Orange County (Santa Ana)

Boy Easter Egg Hunt

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026 

Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Location: Heritage Museum of Orange County 

The Heritage Museum hosts a full day of Easter-themed programming on its historic grounds. Visitors can expect timed egg hunts (by age groups), raffle prizes, and face painting throughout the museum. 

Pro Tip: To accommodate children with sensory needs, the museum will also host a “kids sensory hour” from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities. 

 

Bunny Hop Spring Festival (Westminster) 

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026 | Saturday, April 4, 2026  

Time: 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

Location: Various parks around Westminster 

Westminster’s Bunny Hop celebration is spread across four neighborhood parks over two Saturdays: Buckingham Park and Margie L. Rice Park on March 28, followed by Liberty Park and Gillespie Park on April 4. Each stop includes games, hands-on crafts, live music, Bunny photos, and egg hunts for kids 12 and under. Flashlight Egg Hunt (Yorba Linda)

Time: 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 

Location: Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House 

Yorba Linda’s Flashlight Egg Hunt offers a nighttime twist on the traditional egg hunt, where children (ages 7–13) can search for eggs in the dark using flashlights! Please note advance registration is necessary to secure a spot, and kids are required to bring their own flashlight as well as comfortable running shoes, a basket, and a smart phone or tablet to participate in interactive programming. 

 

Spring Eggstravaganza (Buena Park)

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 

Time: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Location: Boisseranc Park 

Buena Park’s Spring Eggstravaganza includes egg hunts, bounce houses, crafts, a candy scramble, and a petting zoo (...ponies and all)! The event will also feature a book fair and a sustainability fair, adding a little extra variety to the day. The pancake breakfast starts at 8 a.m. sharp, so arrive early to chow down! 

 

Spring Fest: A Pirate Adventure (Costa Mesa) 

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 

Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

Location: Lions Park 

Shiver me timbers! This year, Costa Mesa’s Spring Fest is going all in on a pirate theme, and costumes arrrr encouraged! Expect train rides, games, egg hunts, local bands, and photos with the Spring Bunny throughout the day. The event’s “treasure egg hunt” is organized by age group (check the schedule here), so plan ahead to claim the biggest bounty. 

 

Annual Easter Hunt and Family Fun Day (Huntington Beach) 

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Location: Huntington Beach Sports Complex 

One of the largest Easter celebrations in the region, this event in Huntington Beach includes egg hunts, food trucks, live music, local clothing and craft vendors, prizes, and even a dunk tank featuring public officials. And, to support accessibility, the day will also include a visually impaired egg hunt at 11 a.m., making space for more families to take part in the festivities! 

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Tustin Sports Park (Tustin)

Location: Tustin Sports Park 

This year, Tustin hosts a large community Easter celebration with egg hunts, inflatables, a petting zoo, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Much like other Easter festivals in Orange County, a pancake breakfast will be served for the early birds, beginning at 8 a.m. Get ‘em while they’re hot! 

 

Sensational Springtacular (San Clemente) 

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Location: Vista Hermosa Park 

San Clemente’s Springtacular brings a full morning of family activities to South County. Visitors can take photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy games, egg hunts, crafts, inflatables, face painting, and browse creative booths throughout the park. Wristbands are available for select attractions, though many of the main activities (including the egg hunts) are completely free.
