The Happiest Dining on Earth! Take a bite of the magic with expanded offerings throughout the Downtown Disney® District at Disneyland® Resort. Starting November 19, the outdoor promenade extended into Disney California Adventure®’s Buena Vista Street. The theme parks remain closed; however, increased dining and retail experiences offer opportunities to get your dose of Disney®. Check out our guide to the expanded pixie-dusted plates now available at the Downtown Disney® District.

Safety First

For the safety of guests and cast members, the Disneyland® Resort has implemented several new measures including:

  • Parking at the Simba Lot only and clearly defined entrances to the Downtown Disney® District
  • Temperature screenings prior to entry
  • Face coverings are required for visitors ages 2 and older
  • Physical distancing measures, including physically-distanced queues and seating, and physical barriers at select locations
  • Temporary operations modifications, including reduced hours at select locations and the suspension of entertainment offerings and high-touch interactive areas
  • An increased focus on cleaning and sanitation, including the addition of hand-washing stations and hand sanitizers in key areas

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes

Tap into burgers, fries and CrazyShakes at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. The New York-based burger joint offers upscale American flavors and over-the-top dessert creations like the all-new Mickey Mouse themed special edition strawberry shake with a vanilla frosted rim, an entire Mickey-shaped crisped rice treat, sprinkles, rock candy, whipped cream and a cherry on top. Patio seating is available, or grab your shake to-go at the shake window.

Trolley Treats

Sweeten your visit to the Downtown Disney® District expansion with a visit to Trolley Treats. The Disney confectioners have crafted classic candies and caramel apples, plus beloved fan favorites like the Churro Toffee.

Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe

Fill up on food and festive flair! Place a to-go order for a handcrafted Peppermint Mocha and Cranberry Bliss Bar from the Starbucks, or grab a quick menu selection from Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe. It’s a great stop if you have lights to see and memories to make!

Carthay Circle Lounge

Forget what you thought about theme park food. Carthay Circle Restaurant now offers alfresco dining as part of the Buena Vista Street expansion. Serving Mediterranean-Californian light plates with a side of sunshine, the restaurant has transformed into Carthay Circle Lounge. Enjoy small dishes perfect for sharing while enjoying the sights of Buena Vista Street designed to capture the spirit of Southern California from a bygone era. The seasonal menu features items like Carthay Shrimp Roll, Harissa-Roasted Lamb and an artisan cheese board. A children’s menu is also available.
