Lunar New Year at the Disneyland® Resort

Mickey and Minnie are putting on their festive attire and welcoming the Year of the Rabbit as the Disneyland® Resort celebrates Lunar New Year January 20-February 15, 2023.  

Don’t miss these Lunar New Year offerings:

  • Guests will enjoy a festive parade “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” led by Mulan and Mushu.  

  • If you’re hungry for more festive fun, grab a Sip and Savor pass which offers six food and non-alcoholic beverage selections from the expanded marketplace.  2023 will see two new marketplace food locations: Bamboo Blessings and Wrapped with Love.

  • Ahead of World of Color, enjoy the nighttime water display “Hurry Home – Lunar New Year Celebration” showcasing a little lantern’s journey to rejoin its family.

Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite

Add a little pixie dust to your Valentine’s Day plans.  Sweethearts’ Nite is offered seven select nights January 31 through February 16th.  Entertainment fit for royalty like a Royal Ball at “it’s a small world” attraction and a themed fireworks show are scheduled.  A curated menu awaits, plus numerous photo ops to commemorate the evening.

Step into a comic strip as Knott’s Berry Farm welcomes back its charming PEANUTS Celebration, happening daily January 28-February 26, 2023.  Charlie Brown and his pals take over the Buena Park, CA theme park with unique interactions and pop-up experiences.  The family-friendly fun offers themed photo ops inspired by the Charles M. Schulz cartoon, plus entertainment offerings and themed dining options.

Black History Parade & Unity Festival

Join us in downtown Anaheim Saturday, February 4th to kick off Black History Month with a community-focused festival and parade, a beloved tradition for over 40 years.  The day begins with a 9:00 AM blessing, followed by the parade at 10:00 AM.  Afterwards, the festival on Center Street Promenade will include vendors, live entertainment, car and bike shows, and dance competitions.
