Visitors to the Anaheim Resort™ can experience the magic of Disney even outside the parks. From palate-pleasing culinary creations to handcrafted cocktails and sweets, the outdoor plaza has a myriad of surprises in store for convention attendees.
1. Indulge in a post-meeting "Spirit Sampler"
Tortilla Jo’s, a colorful Mexican cantina, boasts an expansive tequila menu featuring blanco, anejo, reposado and mezcal, with recommended flights of three varieties paired for flavor, color, and intensity. At the outdoor Uva Bar, imbibe under the stars with a flight of four 5-ounce draft beers; choose from SoCal specialties such as Stone Brewing, Ballast Point, The Dudes’ Brewing, and more.
2. Sample a slice of authentic Neapolitan Pizza
Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria imports Caputo flour from Southern Italy along with spring water similar to that of Italy’s Campania region to make its hand-worked dough; the result is a mouthwatering crust that is slightly charred on the edges but thin and soft in the center.
3. Drink up the flavor of the Jungle Cruise with a cocktail at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar
“Owned” by Trader Sam from the beloved Disneyland® Park riverboat ride, the tiki bar at the Disneyland® Hotel offers colorful cocktails in a themed bar filled with historic memorabilia. The menu of Island-inspired appetizers, like Sam’s Pu Pu Platter with sweet and spicy Asian wings, perfectly complements a round-up of sips whose whimsical names—including the Shrunken Zombie Head and HippopotoMai-Tai—promise fun in both flavor and presentation.
4. Enjoy a steak-and-wine dinner at Steakhouse 55
One of the district’s best-kept secrets, this restaurant inside Disneyland® Hotel exudes sophistication and intimacy in its Old Hollywood-esque decor featuring a rich color palette elegant white tablecloths. Take a bite of history with classic fare like the famous seven-onion soup and a bone-in dry-aged New York strip, just a few favorites on a strong menu of prime steaks and seafood.
5. Tap your toes at Ralph Brennan’s Flambeaux Jazz Club
The restaurant and bar transform into a Bourbon Street-style party at dusk with New Orleans-inspired musicians.

6. Roll in and rock out at Splitsville
The three-story entertainment hub features 20 lanes of bowling, live entertainment events, and four dining areas with several food items created exclusively for Anaheim.
7. Step into virtual reality with the new Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire Experience
New to Downtown Disney®, The VOID uses hyper-reality technology to immerse guests in the Star Wars universe, sending groups of four undercover as Stormtroopers to ensure the rebellion’s survival.
8. Get in touch with nature
The bridge across Disneyland® Drive in Downtown Disney® offers a great photo opp in front of the arboretum that features a drought-resistant garden. Throughout the district, specialty planters are also decked out with seasonal treatments such as pumpkins, holiday ornaments, and more.
9. Satisfy a sweet craving with handmade treats
Peer through the window of Marceline’s Confectionary to watch the famous candy apples sold in Disneyland® Park being made, or pick up a batch of artisanal macarons and cake pops from Orange County’s own Kayla’s Cakes.
10. Groove to the beat of nightly entertainment
Musicians ranging from acapella artists to dueling DJs create a live soundtrack for visitors to the Downtown Disney® District. The full entertainment schedule is on disneyland.com.
